Before Makenna was born I just knew that I was going to start a family blog. Well, almost 7 months post baby I am finally getting around to it! Jody and I have been truly blessed with a healthy, beautiful, sweet baby girl. Makenna was born August 20th, 2008 at 9:59 pm. As labor goes, mine was basically smooth sailing! The induction process started around 1:30, by 4:45 I was at 6-7 cm and READY for the epidural. The only mishap was that I am allergic to iodine and of course they used it while prepping for the epidural. I was given benadryl through my IV...what a way to get it! I felt really good after that!
So here we are with an almost 7 month old! Makenna is sitting up now and really wants to scoot! She may be on the move soon! We're also still waiting on that first tooth. Apparently I was a late teether, so maybe she takes after me. We'll keep you updated!
It feels good to have finished my first blog post! I hope that I can keep this thing updated...I promise to try!
